Abstract EN

This study deals with the linguistic persuation methods in the poetry of religious preaching and what it contains of advising and instructing that is derived from Al-Imam Al Shafe'e poetry as a model.

Choosing the poetry of religious preaching has it's value in shaping its contents and accomplishing Al-Da'eah's purposes since poetry follows meter and rhyme, this makes it easy to remember and to transmit ; which is something important in religious preaching.

Memorizing the idea and its prevalence which leads to the interaction of the receiver and what he/she memorizes,and it may generate a conviction with the new idea and its representation afterwards.

This study has searched the most common linguistic methods in the poetic preaching of Al-Imam Al Shafe'eto convince the addressee and to change his/her life to the bitter.

These methods are: repetition, condition,reasoning,using proverbs,discussion,explanation after summery,quoting the Holy Qura'n and the honorable Hadith.

He used in his poetry more than one method to achieve the conviction and fulfilling the idea.
