In the aftermath of the fall of the Berlin Wall as well as the Western Camp's victory over the Soviet Union in the Cold War, the world witnessed a single-pole control by the United States.

Since the declaration of this New World Order, Washington has been facing internal and external challenges, mainly with the rise of some rivals having economic, technological and nuclear powers, paving the way for the globe to shift to a multi-pole order.

The US has seen deterioration in a number of fields, in addition to losing its moral status in leading the world due to the 'unjust' wars it has waged in different areas to implement the neoconservatives' theory.

The report concludes that the internal and external indicators of such a decline in the superpower's supremacy have made several American intellectuals raise the alarm to urge the US administration to set alternative strategies to maintain their status as the dominant pole.
