Tourism forms an important resource of income in the Sultanate of Oman, therefore it achieved spectacular development, through establishment of new tourist facilities there, in addition to the employment of more staff in this sector, along with obtained returns.

This was supported by the already existing natural, human and historical components.

Thus Tourism gained colossal importance both in present and in future, where its prospects will be clearly defined in the next few years.

Because of the importance endowed to this subject, its study in detail, is defined through the following axials: First: the first axial: studying the objective of the research and its trends, along with the importance of economic tourism regarding tourist expenditure, establishment of tourist facilities, social, environmental and service importance.

Second: the second axial: Components of tourist development: Nature, rain, wind, surface features, human resources: such as tourist mass media, tourist festivals, historical and services components, along with transport and communications.

Third: the third axial: kinds of tourism, which include: foreignincoming and internal tourism; then the future horizons of tourism development through number of suggestions to make it come true.
