Abstract EN

The objective of this research is to discover the reality of faggarats and its geographical distribution with the mergence and the present and focus the problems suffered by kalamon distribution as well as its present and past role in agriculture.

Moreover, this research aims to show its effective role in agriculture in the past, and the weakness of this role at present due to draught and low productivity, because of the irrational exploitation of water.

Outcomes were concluded with many proposals.
