The concern with Ibn Sina Mixed Syllogism has been away from researchers' interests, who, in most of their works, have only concentrated on showing the logical effort of Ibn Sina in his research about perception and the logic of cases.
This research, aims primarily at totally studying Ibn Sina's Mixed Syllogism and all its parts.
And clarifying its real importance and position in the history of logic, by means of comparing this syllogism to the Greek one, on the one hand, and approaching it, compared to the Modern Logic on the other hand.
In addition, this research tries to show the influence of this syllogism on the Arab Logic in general.
The research also tries to examine the entire modern assessments of this syllogism; to unveil the authenticity or falsehood of Ibn Sina's Mixed Syllogism and its role in developing this research in the whole Arab Logic, as well as its role in establishing a canon of Modern Logic concepts.
