Abstract EN

This research aims that the main source of civil law of the UAE is Islamic jurisprudence.

This is clear when studying the rules of interpretation of contracts in the UAE Civil Transactions Code (as a model) by returning them to their sources in Islamic jurisprudence, and explaining their features (i.e.

their overall meaning, their conditions, and their jurisprudence applications.

The research concluded that all legal rules relating to the interpretation of contracts in the UAE Civil Transactions Code is taken from the Islamic jurisprudence, and this reflects the originality in this law.
