سور مدينة الديوانية القديم : دراسة آثارية

Abstract EN

There is great importance for cities in the establishment of human civilizations and the city of Hasaka ( Diwaniya ) is considered one of those cities which had a great importance among the cities of the centre of Eupharetes and we hardly tried to but the history of it is uncertain and there is not any source or document which con firm : t and most the sources neglect it .

We may approach much to the establish ment of this city by searching and checking the sources and this make us so close up from the establish ment of building that enclosure which his people are covered with many historical stains and we hardly tried to record the recent history for the building of that enclosure .

Through research and fact finding , we conclude that no exact mention for that enclosure in the writing of the tourists or roamers who passed by this city because there is no shape for that enclosure from the side of the river which is considered the only medium by which the tourists entered Diwaniya .

This paper tries to reach to the first attempts of rebuilding and reforming of that enclosure .

This paper proves that there is not any in creasing in the area of width or the height , but only some rebuilding and reforming in the height and width of that enclosure and there are some towers which were increased some times and decreased sometimes else
