This search is concerned about detecting the role of purpose in the cohesion of Surah Al-Waqia indicatively, and it has concluded a number of results such as: 1- The purpose has an impact on the cohesion of Surah Al-Waqia indicatively & externally, and it has been shown in several Surahs in the Holy Quran like Surah Al-Qiyama, Surah Ar-Rahman & Surah Al-Hadid.

2- The purpose has an important role in the cohesion of Surah Al-Waqia internally, it was manifested in the proportionality between the title and content of the Surah, and between the introduction & conclusion of the surah, and between the components of content, and between verses- per unit text.

3- Surah Al-Waqia is an airtight texture, each intellectual unit is linked with the one after it, so the surahs units cohere among each others in order to be linked with the focus text & its main meaning which is proving the resurrection & recompense.

4- A good understanding of the Quran verses requires a careful meditation on the relations of text cohesion from the inside & outside which is represented in the focus text & its main meaning.

5- The purpose may be hidden between some verses in one Surah, and its disappearance does not mean breaking the linkage between them, but a little meditation can shed light on the hidden ties that bind them.

Finally, we say that searching in the cohesion of the Quranic text is not something that's imposed on the text, it is something not doubtful, but that is to shed light on that cohesion achieved in the Quranic text.
