Literary exemplification and implication are considered a textual marker that relates to the historical and literary communication on the one hand and the cultural generations on the other; they represent a cultural identity that is transmitted by one generation to the next carrying all of the writer's effects, his background, and his creative experience.

Also these cater the Arab critic with a critical tool by which he evaluates writers' works.

In Mostafa Sadeq Al-Rafi'i's essays entitled "Wahyul-Qalam" (The Inspiration of the Pen), literary exemplification and implication, whether it is poetic or prosaic, appears as an artistic or stylistic identity.

These markers characterize the artistic logic and the internal semantic structure as well as the mature textual relations that support the main theme.

In Al-Rafi'i's essay, this phenomenon is a constructive force that builds the text and gives it marginal.

Allusive, thoughtful, and epistemological proportions of social and religious dimensions.
