The research is entitle "then semantics in Holly Quran'1, it concentrated mainly on meanings that "then" performance in Holly Quran, it indicates that "then" usually serves and performs eight different meanings in addition to the essential meaning "participating with arrangement an appointed time" that grammarians had determined.

The eight additional meanings include; slackness in order, exclusion, continuity, resumption, absolute composing, coordinating conjunction, the, and to be additional meaning.

There is a clear difference in all these meanings among the interpreters, which had been shown in the research with a brief summary to the ones that serve Quran meaning and never contract with language.

The research consists of forty-eight pages, and includes introduction, conclusion and relevant references of total thirty-eight references.
