Abstract EN

Mahmoud Adib was appointed district commissioner of Abu Sakhir on 15 September 1929 to June 1931 succeed the mayor to Ali Bazerkan, he has held this position even when he was transferred to the district of Karbala, and he prepared a caretaker Mahmoud Al-Adib such transfer from his detailed report on the district of Abu Sakhir during the lifespan ,and the report included the following aspects: 1-The Management side: Explain the administrative boundaries to eliminate and the other districts, and the administrative units that make up the district, which are three ways Aldjaarh and Faisaliah and Altajeai , as well as a number of villages, then the report referred to the Board of Directors of the district and the administrative establishment of the district and respects.

2-The Social aspect and the District: it include detailed information about the number of people in the district, and prominent figures in it, and pointed out to the families of the district, giving detailed information about the teams and the elderly.

He also gave an accurate number of detailed issues that have occurred in the district during the lifespan, which amounted to (64) issue..

3-The Economic Side: referring to the most important agricultural crops in the district, and an irrigation network, and then gave a detailed imports achieved in the district during the years 1929 - 1930, which amounted to (607446) rupee in 1929 and (362910) rupee in 1930.

4- The Building Side: referring a number of houses in and educational establishments and services that represented by three primary schools for boys, clinic and several houses belonging to the municipality, and Khan for the convenience of passengers , several bridges and roads.
