Abstract EN

Competitiveness is now considered as a prerequisite for the penetration of international markets by companies.

Competitiveness is acquired through operating companies in open markets.

They seek, through differentiation, to strengthen their ability to penetrate new markets, or at least maintain the markets in which they exist.

The rentier economy does not provide the necessary requirements to help companies enhance their competitiveness.

Indeed, the rentier economy was behind the emergence of behaviors and mechanisms that hinder the development of competitive advantages.

Consequently, it is necessary to engage global and coherent reforms that transform the economy of its rentier nature to another kind of economy based on effort and work which may lead companies in a new context in which the economic competitiveness regarded as an economic opportunity rather than a threat to their survival.
