Abstract EN

The West Centrism Paradigm is one of the important reigning paradigms in today’s international relations.

It is seen to be a possible keyword to explain the situation of the post cold war era.

This situation is influenced by conflicts between the Centre on one hand and other parts or sub-parts on the other, aiming to establish a new dichotomy that divides the world into (North/South) instead of what was known as Eastern /Western globes .

The hopeful aim of this paradigm which forms a set of racial, spiritual, civil, and specific features is to find and set new pillars to western identity.

By the time such new features have to be part of the western thought.

They will be considered the essence of international relations theories by the end of the second millennium and the beginning of the third one, leading to the establishment of a new western philosophy that will focus on reproducing all what was considered valueless by the ancient civilizations in the past.

The new trend tends to eliminate and decrease all what is not western since the West is being the only source of human values, modernism, culture and civism.

The USA and the western world as a whole represent the central core of the new international system, which holds globalization as an emblem.

It has a deep and a great role in issuing infinite international decisions around the globe.

The rest of the world’s countries are passive.

They have to adapt and adopt policies that go along with the new system.

Otherwise, they will be objects of historical isolation and ignorance as Francis Fukuyama stated.

This latter, who is considered with Samuel Huntington as one of the bright theorists of the western central paradigm (We and the others), which seems to be, at least till the end of the century, one the main frames that will govern the international western policies in general, and the American one in particular.
