The poverty issues occupied a great status in the field of scientific research, Most Academic researcher focused to know the problems and causes of poverty, such as economic problems social, political, educational and healthy services.

Also they seek to find their impact on society in generally..

The poverty isn’t simply phenomenon, it has deep roots, because it’s the source of the problems effecting society.

This paper aims to study the poverty issue in Algeria through general facts and basic concepts, and it’s relationship with development, oil, unemployment and inflation, Also it present the negative effects of poverty on Algerian society .

Finally, we conclude by some recommendation to reduce this phenomenon in Algeria .
