Sciences of hadith consist of interrelated branches.

Researchers must understand the interrelations and connections between these branches to forman overall comprehensive awareness of these interrelations.

The present paper tackles the connection between hiding the real identity of hadith narrators and their unreliability .

It investigates the following question: Does hiding the real identity of narrators affect their authenticity? The answer to this question can be added to the reasons behind some narrators' being unauthenticated weather that was related to the narrator himself or hadith scholars' evaluation.

The researcher concluded after reviewing the sayings and practical applications of hadith critics that there was a relation between hiding the real identity of hadith narrators and their authenticity.

It was found out that such hiding of identity was one of the reasons that these narrator were classified as unreliabe .

Scholars studying narrators' authenticitymust take this relation into consideration.
