Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the reasons and factors that lead to juveniles' deviation from their points of view.

The study revolved around all deviated juveniles in Juveniles correction and Rehabilitation Center in Irbid in 2012 ،and they are counted as 90 juveniles.

The study also focused on reasons and factors that have been seen by the researcher to be main causes and factors of deviation.

1) Psychological and family factors and causes.

2) Social factors and causes.

3) Economic factors and causes.

4) Backwardness in the Religious ،ethical and moral motivations of Juveniles.

5) Technological factors and causes (mass media ، telecommunication and computer).

In addition to the above mentioned factors ،the following variables are taken into consideration: Age of juveniles ،Age of his parents ،place of living ،and the level of education of both parents and juvenile.

The study showed that the main reasons for juveniles' deviations are: 1) The absence of the family role in proper socialization process for the children.

2) Backwardness in the Religious ، ethical and moral motivations of Juveniles.

3) Juvenile's bad peer environment and the absence of family monitoring.

4) Low-economic status of the family.

(Poverty).

5) The size of the family.

(Large number of its members).

6) Parents and social centers don’t pay adolescence the importance it needs.

Since the study shows that most deviants are at adolescence period.
