Abstract EN

This study which is titled ''The Tolerance in the old civilization" Supposes that Tolerance is a Civilian mortality and it is a political, social, moral, intellectual necessity specially in the societies, have political national, Religious denominational variety.

Existence of Tolerance is not only important to the society which suffering from clash, but necessary also to all types of society, even in peacetime, when the society has different groups.

According to that, the study divided into three chapters in addition to the introduction and conclusion.

The first chapter study the concept of Tolerance, the second section contain the Tolerance in the old east civilization (the Mesopotamia, India ,China civilization), the third chapter contain the Tolerance in the old west civilization (the Greece and roman civilization).
