Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the most important criteria for selecting coaches in the Premier football clubs in Jordan from the viewpoint of administrative staff.

The researchers used the descriptive survey to identify the most important criteria for selecting coaches.

The researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of five domains: technical domain, social domain, personal domain, psychological domain, and economic domain.

The sample consists of (60) administrative staff in clubs, and was chosen randomly.

In light of the study findings, the researchers recommend that the coach selection must be based on expertise, and personal, psychological qualifications.

Moreover, developing of scientific criteria for selecting coaches by the specialized committees, that does not have personal relationships with coaches to give a chance to show their talents.
