Public libraries attempt to create new services to be close to all social categories with the intention to help them to integrate in society.
One of these categories which is particularly taken into consideration is that of aged persons who generally encounter more constraints because of their advanced age, their physical and health state, in addition to the others’ look which is often negative.

La bibliothèque publique essaye en permanence de créer de nouveaux services pour être proche de différentes catégories sociales, et pour les aider à s'intégrer dans la société.
Une de ces catégories qui est particulièrement prise en considération est celle des personnes âgées qui rencontrent généralement plus de contraintes vu leurs âges, l’état de leur condition physique, en plus du regard négatif des autres.
