This study aimed at identifing the level of teachers of Arabic language practices of comprehensive quality standards when teaching literary texts for the tenth grade.

It also aimed at identifing significant differences between the means of estimations of supervisors for the practices of the tenth grade teachers of those standards, due to the variables (Gender - years of service).

Then it gave a vision to develop the teaching of literary texts for the tenth grade in the light of quality standards.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the structural and analytical descriptive approaches.

He built a comprehensive list of quality standards for the teaching literary texts through holding two workshops for teachers and supervisors as well as through reviewing books and educational studies.

The researcher also built a card note of comprehensive quality standards in teaching of literary texts consisted of (65) indicator which were distributed to four domains.

The researcher applied it on a random sample of (54) tenth grade teachers in Gaza, representing (27%) of the original study population.

After conducting the study and statistical treatments, the researcher reached the following findings: - The first scope of the note card (the preparation of literary text lesson plan) got (55.93%) with average means (2,796).

- The second scope of the note card (presenting literary lesson) obtained a (60.43%) with an average means (3.022).

- The third scope of the note card (literary activities and experience) got (54.23%) with an average means (2.712).

- The fourth scope of the card note (Final evaluation of literary lesson) got (51.07%) with an average means (2.554).

- The total score of note card was (54.60%) with an average means (2.730).

- In summary the previous results showed that thelevel of the tenth grade teachers' practices of quality standards in the overall teaching literary texts is weak.

- The study also proposed a perception for teaching literary texts for the tenth grade in the light of the comprehensive quality standards.
