فاعلية استخدام استراتيجية (PDEODE)‎ لطلبة المرحلة الأساسية العليا في تحصيلهم للمفاهيم الفيزيائية و تفكيرهم العلمي

Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using (PDEODE) strategy among Higher Basic Stage Students on their achievement of physics concepts and scientific thinking.

The sample of the study consisted of (48) ninth grade male students who distributed randomly into two groups: experimental group and control group.

To answer the questions of study, data was gathered and analyzed using (ANOVA) and (MANOVA).

The results showed there were no significant statistical differences at (α = 0.05) between the mean scores of achievement test of physics concepts, and scientific thinking test that was attributed to the instructional strategy in favor of the experimental group.

In light of these results, the researcher recommended adopting (PDEODE) strategy in the teaching-learning process and in training in-service teachers and reforming the scientific subjects in accordance with this strategy.

In addition, the study recommended conducting similar studies and researches on other classes and subjects.
