Abstract EN

The article deals with one of the Kurdish personalities Abdul Salam Barzani, who had the significant role in the opposition of the ©ttoman policy in order to implement the Kurdish demands during the ¥oung Turk era.

We try to shed light on the important aspect of Sheikh Abdul Salam Barzani and his role in the struggle of Kurds against the ©ttoman era.

In this context, he hardly opposed the Turkification policy, which used by the ©ttoman empire against non-Turkish people, such as Kurds, but his struggle had been failed by the external intervention from Russia and Britain.
