Abstract EN

The matter of word and meaning is considered as one of the most important topics that were discussed and studied by linguists and stylists, this because it is related to the comprehension and comprehensibility which is in turn connected to the miracle of the Holy Quran and its challenge for Arabs by its eloquence and rhetoric.

The study concentrates on the effect of developing the structure and meanings of the words on the eloquence of the Holy Quran through discussing the forms that appear in the Quran according to their context; developing and expanding the meaning by figurative language to express the implications that attract the addressee and affect them and hiding the meanings which are not to be revealed by the text of the Quran due to a rhetorical purpose.The study aims to expose the effect of developing the structure of words and phrases on the eloquence of the Quran within the framework of aggrandizement and others; and to know the Quran meaning, aims, purposes through development of the meanings so as to provide two levels of the meaning: denotative and connotative meaning.

The study concludes the following findings: - Words in the Holy Quran vary according to their context and structure and this leads to a style of aggrandizement, magnification, exclusiveness, etc - The implications of the Quranic words are developed to denote to meanings, aims and rhetoric purposes.
