Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور الجامعة في التوعية لمخاطر ظاهرة تعاطي المخدرات و العوامل المؤدية إليها من وجهة نظر طلبة جامعة مؤتة، و لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطوير استبانه لغرض جمع البيانات، و تكونت عينة الدراسة من (780) مبحوثا، حيث استخدمت الدراسة المنهج المسحي، و استخدمت الرزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (Spss.16) لتحليل بيانات لاستبانه، و قد بينت الدراسة أنه توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لدور الجامعة في التوعية لمخاطر المخدرات باختلاف النوع الاجتماعي و السنة الدراسية و نوع الكلية، و أيضا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية نحو دور الجامعة في التوعية لمخاطر المخدرات، لصالح الذكور، و من أهم نتائج الدراسة أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية نحو العوامل النفسية و الشخصية المؤدية إلى تعاطي المخدرات، و أنه توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية نحو العوامل المجتمعية و الاقتصادية المؤدية لتعاطي المخدرات لصالح طلبة كلية الإنسانية.

و بينت الدراسة أن المتوسط العام لدور الجامعة في التوعية الطلاب من تعاطي المخدرات قد جاءت متوسطة، و أيضا أن المتوسط العام للعوامل الاجتماعية، و الاقتصادية، و النفسية، و العوامل الشخصية المؤدية لتعاطي المخدرات قد جاءت مرتفعة.

و بناء على نتائج الدراسة، فقد تم صياغة عدد من التوصيات من أهمها : العمل على زيادة جسور التواصل بين الجامعات و الدوائر الأمنية للعمل سويا في مواجهة ظاهرة تعاطي المخدرات بين الطلبة، و تعليم الطلبة كيف ينتفعون بأوقات فراغهم جسميا و عقليا و اجتماعيا، و التي قد تأخذ بأيديهم إلى الوقوع في تعاطي المخدرات.

English Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the role of the university in raising its students’ awareness to the dangers of drug abuse and the factors that lead to it from the perspective of Mu'tah University’s students.

In order to achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire was developed in order to collect data.

The study sample consisted of (780) respondents.

The study used the survey approach; it also used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for analyzing the questionnaire data.

The study revealed that there are statistically significant differences for the role of the university in raising the awareness to the dangers of drug according to variables of gender, the year of study and the type of college.

There are also statistically significant differences regarding the role of the university in raising the awareness to the dangers of drugs in favor of the male students.

The study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences regarding the psychological and personal factors that lead to drug abuse, and that there are statistically significant differences regarding the societal and economic factors leading to drug abuse in favor of the students of the Faculty of Humanities.

The study showed that the overall average for the role of the university in educating the students about the dangers of drug abuse was medium, and that the overall average of the social, economic, psychological, and personal factors leading to drug abuse was high.

Based on the study results, a number of recommendations were cited, the most notably: enhancing the means of communication between universities and security departments in terms of working together in order to face the phenomenon of drug abuse among the students, and teaching the students how to make use of their free time physically, mentally as well as socially in order to avoid drug abuse.
