Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى التوجه نحو المخاطرة لدى طلبة جامعة مؤتة، حيث بحثت فيما إذا كان هناك علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين مركز الضبط و التوجه نحو المخاطرة، و العلاقة بين سمات الشخصية و التوجه نحو المخاطرة، و هل توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في التوجه نحو المخاطرة لدى طلبة جامعة مؤتة تعزى لمتغيرات النوع الاجتماعي و الكلية و المستوى الدراسي، و تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع طلبة جامعة مؤتة في المرحلة الجامعية الأولى من الجنسين، و تكونت عينة الدراسة من (667) طالبا و طالبة.

و خلصت الدراسة إلى جملة من النتائج أبرزها : أن مستوى التوجه نحو المخاطرة لدى طلبة جامعة مؤتة جاء متوسطا، و أن هناك علاقة عكسية ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0.05) بين مركز الضبط و التوجه نحو المخاطرة، و أن هناك علاقة طردية ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0.05) بين سمات الشخصية (الانبساطية، و الانفتاحية) و التوجه نحو المخاطرة.

و خلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعه من التوصيات أهمها : ضرورة أن تقوم الجامعة بتهيئة الظروف المناسبة للطلبة لرفع مستوى توجه الطلبة نحو المخاطرة الايجابية في النواحي الأكاديمية، و ذلك من خلال الندوات الإرشادية، و أن يوجه الآباء و المرشدين و المدرسين الطلبة نحو المواقف التي تحتوي على عنصر المخاطرة.

English Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of attitudes toward risks among Mu'tah university students , and to identify whether there is a significant statistical relationship between locus control and attitude towards risks , if there is a relationship between personality traits and attitude towards risks, whether there is significant statistical differences in attitudes towards risks among Mu'tah university students that are attributed to gender, specialty ( scientific / human sciences ), and the educational year variables.

The population of the study consisted of all Mu'tah university students at the first university academic year from both males and females.

The sample consisted of ( 667 ) male and female students .

Results indicated that the level of attitude towards risk came medium among Mu'tah university students , and that there was a significant statistical inverse relationship at the level (α>0.05 ) of significance between locus control and attitude towards risk .

Results also indicated significant statistical positive relationship at the level (α>0.05 ) of significance between personality traits ( extroversion and openness ) and attitude towards risk .

The study concluded with a group of recommendations among which that it is necessary for the university to make available the appropriate conditions for students to increase and facilitate their attitudes towards positive risks in the academic aspects through instructive seminars , and for parents , counselors and educators to instruct students toward situations that include the element of risk.
