Abstract EN

This study is about a Rhetorical device.

This device is considered by Abu Ali Al-Farici as the most important part of rhetoric, namely syntactic linkage and disjunction.

Our case is concerned with syntactic linkage and disjunction within the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an of the scholar abdELHAMID ibn-Badis –May Allah have mercy on him- with an attempt to show his consideration of the rhetoric course.

We were able –with the grace and help of Allah- to follow every rhetorical issue mention by the scholar –May Allah have mercy on him- and they reached more than two hundred mentions.

Naturally, we have selected only syntactic linkage and disjunction issues that reached sixteen mentions.

In these passages the scholar explained in some cases the structures and in others the types and rarely the purpose of the linkage and disjunction.

Through these sixteen passages we tried, objectively, to widen the explanation and we tried to discuss some of them scientifically.
