Abstract EN

With Algerian movement towards gradual liberalization of its foreign trade , it signed a partnership agreement with European union , which aims to establish a free trade area between the parties, where a special supplement included rules of origin , and on the ground that application of trade preferences in the agreement is closely linked to the rules , and products that are gaining the status of national origin and they above are able to benefit from the cancelation of customs duties and quotas on trade between the two parties .

This article attempt to examine the impact of the rules of origin in the Algerian European partnership agreement on the national economy and that through the following : -Rules of origin in the euro Algerian partnership agreement .

-The impact of the rules of origin on the cost of production and the Algerian exports to Europe .

-The impact of the rules of origin on the foreign direct investment .

-Algerian industry take advantage of the accumulation of origin mechanism .
