Abstract EN

This study attempts to detect the Educational values contained in the books of basic Arabic language for the first primary Stage in Jordan involving reading texts, songs, writing, dictation and the pictures.

This book started to be taught in 2014/2015 where the paragraph, the word and the picture were deemed units for analysis, numbering and recording.

The validity and reliability of the tool were measured.

The outcomes were as follows: the total number of the frequencies of the Educational values contained in the books of basic Arabic language for the first primary Stage reached the value (945) as the distribution for the third (496) for the second grade and (280) for the first grade, (169)was grade.

As regards the domains of these values, the economic and financial domain values has ranked on the top among all values amounted to a total of frequencies which reached(174) then followed by the educational values domain in second place as the total frequency was (166), then comes the , next were the personal (142)familial and social values domain which reached and national values and national values domains as their frequencies reached (126) and (115) respectively, the belief and worship values domains were the seventh and the eighth respectively on that scale.

The most common value embedded in these three books was the value concerning ' Stimulation of thinking and motivation of the with a frequency reaching (72), the value of health and healing beside the value of patriotism and love of its sights followed with a frequency reaching (45), the value of ' hard working and distancing fromlaziness' and ' patriotism' took the fourth and fifth rank respectively.

The ranks that came last between the educational values went for ' patience', ' honest', ' prayer' and 'angels love'.

The researcher recommended that the there is a need to achieve balance in the distribution of importance on educational values contained in the books of the Arabic language in the basic stage through an objective analysis mechanisms such as tables and matrices and that the need to distribute these findings on the people in charge in the education field.
