Abstract EN

This article aims to discuss the issue of youth in the Arab World in terms of their relationship with the information technology, notably the Internet.

The research attempts to concentrate more on the impact of such technology on the value system that Arabic Culture has had a long tradition and deep history.

However, despite of the significance Arab Culture has, the youth, perhaps due to their nature, tend to be more attracted to what the Internet provide them with reflecting Western Culture Model, that is why we often witness some type of "generation conflic".

The research conludes, that the best and fruitful way to adjust the whole issue of such conflict comes only through a proper understanding of youth real needs and the application of socialisation that parents should have a crucial role to play.
