Abstract EN

This study examines the rôle of security and police institutions in Egypt which led to the out braking of a révolution in 25'*’ Jane 2011.

Thus the study examines the factors behind the révolution and gives historical background as well as it answers the enquiry whether such case and revolutionary phenomenon is peculiar to Egypt a lone or it may apply to other countries such as Sudan.

Knowing the fact that.

Both Egypt and Sudan have similar and joint history.

The Study also accounts for the challenges and rôle of external force behind progressive controlling of security and police forces over stat's institutions such a control vvas not available under normal and poiitical instability conditions.

Finally, the study tries to predict the future of security and police institutions in both contraries after Arab spring révolutions and possibility of new reformations occuiTence .

In such case could nevv reformations lead to establishment of nevv model free from past shortcomings or
