The integrated management of natural resources in accordance with the application of a wide range of nuclear technology, enabled the agricultural operations to shift towards a high level of productivity in a sustainable manner and, at the same time, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, which helps in addressing climate change.

Through this article, we will review what has been provided by nuclear techniques in favor of sustainable development of agriculture and food.

These nuclear techniques have been developed in labs and fields of the IAEA and have been tested and applied by many scientists and researchers around the world, including what have been accomplished by Iraqi scientists at the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission
