Abstract EN

This research aimed at inquiring the role of governance in applying the quality criteria in the Middle East University, in order to achieve quality assurance and its processes and outputs, through answering the following two questions: Q1: What do we mean by universities governance? Q2: How did the Middle East University make the ‘governance as an essential foundation for applying the quality criteria? The research concluded the importance of applying the principles of governance and quality assurance criteria in finding an interactive and interactional environment to achieve the quality assurance of processes and outputs.

It was reached to a conception that clarifies how the governance does and its principles operate on the coherence and interaction of its inputs, in order to achieve the quality assurance of the processes and outputs.

The researchers recommended treating quality assurance criteria not separately, but through their interaction with all inputs, on condition that the governance should be the interaction tool among them.
