Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the role of Egyptian newspapers in the formation of university students' attitudes towards the Egyptian government performance, the study on the adopted survey method that suits the study and achicve their goals, as the study was based on its theoretical framework to rely on media theory, the study sample 416 included Single of students University were selected in a manner random sample according to the distribution of replication so that each representing University 104 Single evenly distributed betw'een theoretical and applied university colleges, v/ere selected sample of four universities based on the equal distribution between these universities, a Cairo University, the University of October Menoufia University, the University of Renaissance Beni Suef.

The study found many of the most important results : 1.

Low knowledge of the Egyptian government performance level.

2.

High direction of the negative respondents about government, performance, which may be due to the fact that the government did not check iMatoukah young ones.

3.

a significant rise in the number of university students of others belong to political parties at a rate of 91.8 %, despite the existence of a veiy large number of parties in Egypt especially after the revolution of January.
