Abstract EN

The present study is an attempt a* studying the fictional speech in the novel “Corruption of places” for the author, sabrl Musa in the light of communication theory, which is interested in all parties of the creative procet* for the purpose of producing the speech: creator/novdist, the text/fiction and the receiver/ the reader.

This study consists of an introduction and three sections; the introduction tackles the concepts of speech, fictional speech, communication theory as well as an acknowledgement with the novel 'corruption of places’ The first section tackles ihe fiixt party uf creative pruveas parties, the creator.

It deals with the concept of ‘the creator' and world’s visions which he aspires to submit to the forum as well as their role in delivering narrative spccch, the role of the critic creator in facilitating the delivery process .

It deals also with the narrator’s role and the functions he carries out as well as the sites he uses in order to carry out his task.

This is to be carried out by means of an applied study tor the manifestations ot the narrator in 'corruption of places' The .second section (ackics (lie forum, which is the sccoud part'.

This is by means of determining the concept of ‘receiver’, the hidden reader who exist inside the text nr to he referred to the external reader who exists outside the text and the way he receives the speech/ the fiction, the effect of that on the process of communication and the main function of the novel as well as the ideal reader and the ordinary reader.

The third section tackles the third party of the creative process, the text.

It deals with the closed, open and multi-factor texts.

This is to be carried out by means of an applk'd study on fiction.

Finally, the study is to be concluded by the results achieved by the study.
