Abstract EN

This study aims to identifying the Obstacles to successful psychotherapy programs from the point of view of the therapist, and determine the extent of variation attitudes therapists about these obstacles according to sex, years of experience and workplace (government hospitals and private centers), the sample of study consisted of (79) therapists (34 males, and 45 females) working at mental health hospitals and private centers in Saudi Arabia , their ages ranged between (33:58) years, the study included a scale of Obstacles to successful psychotherapy programs from the point of view of the therapist prepared by the researchers, contains four dimensions ( professional Obstacles, resource Obstacles, client- specific Obstacles, cultural Obstacles), results revealed that there were Obstacles to successful psychotherapy programs from the point of view of the therapist, there were no differences between males and females therapist in Obstacles to successful psychotherapy programs, and less experienced higher than the most experienced in professional Obstacles, cultural Obstacles and total score of Obstacles, but there were no differences between them in resource Obstacles and client- specific Obstacles, in addition , the findings of the present study showed that the therapist working in government hospitals is higher than the therapist working in clinics and centers in client- specific Obstacles, but there were no differences between them in ( professional Obstacles, resource Obstacles, , cultural Obstacles, and total score of Obstacles ).finally, the researchers offered several recommendations, and suggestions for further researches.
