This paper deals with the contributions of Muslim scholars, especially in the field of linguistics its role in the enrichment of human thought and benefit .

No one can deny the role of Arabs and Muslims in the evolution of human civilization .

The deep reader in history considers them as pioneers in thought and civilization in the dark European ages .

The research aims at detecting the early Arab efforts in enriching the societies in science and culture in many fields specially linguistics .

This assures the domination ot the Arab-lslamic civilization in knowledge during six centuries .

This period is one of the most important periods of history.

Their influence also extended beyond that despite recession.

The importance of research on two important facts .

The first of which is the importance of linguistics as its an important aspect in civilization that can not be overlooked .

It is the key component of cultures and its pillar .

In fact, the study of linguistics is one of the essential branches of anthropology , Secondly , as one believes in the importance of the scientific heritage of nations and their progress .

The research emphasizes the role of Muslim scholars in the modern scientific civilization .

They based the rules and put new theories.
