Abstract EN
This study is dealing with an important and critical period in the international policy, When the Hungarian revolution broke out on October 23, 1956.
The responsible (officials) in Hungary tried to take the measures that work to calm the situation but they failed.
People exploded and the revolution started.
The Soviet Union didn’t find anything but intervening lo break up the demonstrations in response to the call (distress) of the Hungarian officials.
In attempt to contain the situation in Hungary' the Soviet issued a statement on October 30, 1956 on equality and respect for the territorial integrity of the socialist countries, But soon the international situation developed in favor of the Soviet, as the Tripartite aggression -Britain, France and Israel- gave the opportunity to improve the position of the Soviet in Hungary, From this stand point the Soviet second intervention came in November 4, 1956, where the Soviet managed to crush the resistance which was without hope for the rebels.
