Abstract EN

This study examines the geographic distribution pattern analysis for wedding halls in the city of Irbid using geographic information systems, based on population density and stages of urban development of the city.

Wedding halls has been ranked according to size and the date of its establishment and nature of their serv ices.

The study used several canographic and statistical techniques to detect the pattern of geographical distribution and using geographic information systems (ARCGISVA*) as average Nearest neighboring, standard distance, main center, central feature, directional distribution, buffer and multiable ring buffer arrived analysis and and center location and scale, and others.

The study found that the pattern of distribution of wedding halls is a scattered pattern, closer to the assembly.

Spatial Analysis also showed that the proliferation of wedding halls taking the oval towards the north-west, south-east .Analysis also proved that the geographical distribution of wedding halls is not appropriate with the population distribution in the city.The statistical analysis showed focus most wedding halls in Edon area, while the Manara area devoid of wedding halls, w'hile the proportion of the population represents *'% of the total population of the city .
