Abstract EN

This paper deals with the position of Al-ahsa Ulamaa from the reformist call in Najd during the period between the years 1155-1216A.H / 1742-1802 A.D.

Their adoption of an opposing position contributed to the emergence of Al-ahsa as a political and scholarly center for opposition, and therefore it attracted a number of opposing najdi Ulamaa and students.

In addition to that, the position of Al-ahsa Ulamaa had an impact on the events of that time in Najd and Al-ahsa and beyond.

This paper touched upon a number of topics such as: the advent of the reformist call news to Al-ahsa, the most distinguished Ulamaa in Al-ahsa at that time, the initial reactions and stance of Al-ahsa Ulamaa toward it, the motives behind their position and opposition to the call and the nature of the relationship between the opposition Ulamaa in Al-ahsa and Najd.

It also touched upon the position of Al-ahsa Ulamaa towards the reformist call after Al-ahsa became under Saudi rule, their migration, activities and finally the impact of their opposition in Arabian and beyond.
