Abstract EN

It is well known that language is more wider than the morphology and syntactic (grammatical) rules.

This research bridges the gap found in the Arabic morphology literature (especially), and linguistic in general.

Thus, the phenomenon of verbs which have no gerund nouns amongst linguistics and Grammarians are covered.

It is a phenomenon that was not formalized with the old grammarians or linguists, or even by contemporary researchers despite its importance.

Because it is linked by the origin of derivation which is considered to be the one of the pillars of survival and development of Arabic language, and because it is linked by group of verbs which are the largest counterpart of nouns.

The grammatical and linguistic references did not give us rules governing those verbs, or divisions.

This research has revealed that this phenomena has two sides: regular which is known through inverted verbs, and uninflected verbs, and irrigular which is known through derived verbs are from concrete nouns Arabic or Arabized nouns, and converted from other languages and were used by Arabs in their native languages.

A collection of oral verbs which are not gathered by grammatical or linguistically united meaning unless then is collected under the topic of this research.

This research has revealed the big diversity amongst linguists and grammarians, Upon those verbs which shows us the necessity to revise what linguists have mentioned in their dictionaries.

The results of the research is numerous as will be shown in the conclusion.
