Abstract EN

Crime is one of the main problems facing contemporary societies.

In light of the global trend towards reducing crime, the role of Islamic Economics in addressing the causes that drive an individual to commit a crime or criminal behavior appears, as the Islamic economy by reducing by minimizing inequality and improve the incomes of individuals and that of seeking and application of the provisions of the legitimacy of achieving social solidarity among people , as well as the commitment and application of the texts, which calls for action and condemnslaziness and surrender of unemployment.

This research aims to examine the distributive role of Zakat in addressing the problem of poverty by giving needy sufficiency, and in addressing the problem of unemployment, creating the right conditions to reduce unemployment, and therefore work to remove all the factors leading to crime.

The researcher concluded that it could be part of the Zakat funds invest alongside adequacy of the poor rehabilitation of the unemployed poor, or the establishment of development projects help provide jobs for the unemployed of their children, and thus keep them away from thinking about the criminal aspects and put them in the ranks of workers.
