Abstract EN

The Prophetic tradition that Abu Musa Ai-Ash’ari’s narrated pertain- ing to supplication contained a number of significant supplications that the Prophet taught us.

However, there were some discrepan- cies in the narration of a few words in that Hadith; a matter which caused differences in deducing rules from that Hadith.

The narra- tcrs differed among themselves in narrating the word ‘dari’ which was narrated in three ways: “dari, ra'yee and that The preferred narration is the word ‘dari’ according to available evidence.

The sig- nuisance of different narrations in prophetic traditions entails con- ducting further contemporary research in this field.

The research also highlighted the need to re-examine the secondary Hadith books in cases of loss of the original book, variation in lexical items, or judging the truth of the Hadith.

Research in Hadith should not be restricted to Primary sources of Hadith alone.

The study also stressed the accuracy with which narrators handled the process of narrating the Prophetic traditions and the need to state the lexical items as they are although they might be inaccurate.

However, this has to be explained in footnotes.
