The International and Regional conflict upon oil in Abia and its future dimensions on the geopolitical map of Sudan.

Sudan faced during the post – indepenedence period many crises and civil wars sometimes caused by religious and ethnic conflicts and at some other times by the unripe political share.

After the oil is discovered in Sudan the conflict tends to involve the attempt control the oil resources and usurp its revenues.

The Abia district is considered one of the main points of this conflict, the conflict upon oil started between the south and north of Sudan during an early stage before the comprehensive peace agreement between the conflicting parties at the time when the conflict was only represented by the civil war.

The political conflict to control oil resources takes many wider shapes and ranges even after the conflicting parties have reached to an agreeable form to put an end to the conflict between the south and the north, which is represented by the peace agreement.

Even if it is supposed that they have devised a solution to solve the problems about the oil areas between the north and the south there appears to be a potential and anannounced conflict among the tribes living in the areas which contains high amounts of oil resources in the south.

The conflict will then be seen on new levels which have their impact on the peopolitical situation of Sudan
