Abstract EN

He researcher traced the names of the Prophet's city as mentioned in the holy Quran and the purified Sunnah and showed the correct Hadiths (the sayings of the Messenger of Allah), reported the weak ones and turned down the false Hadiths especially the name Yathrib because of its linguistic connotation which does not suit it after it gained sanctity.

He also showed the meanings of the names and its sources and that most of them were quoted form the Holy Quran and the sayings of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the sayings of his €ompanions, may Allah be pleased with them and the scholars after them and what was stated from the People of the book.
