Abstract EN

Pilgrimage is deemed as a sublime Islamic ritual imposed by Allah Almighty upon Muslims, and it was destined to be one of the pillars of Islam by which sins arc remitted, eye drops are poured, invocations are responded, and people witness things beneficial to them, and through which the pilgrimage caravan affects its surrounding and gets affected by its surrounding.

Many travelers were pleased to write down this in their Higaz trips.

Al Madinah has been influenced by the Pilgrimage caravan and affected it.

Since the past is the origination of present, thus, I preferred to tackle one of the scientific research rings of the history of this blessed city through my thesis entitled ( Pilgrimage and its Effect on the Community of Al Madinah through the Travelers’ Books in the Ottoman Era).

The importance of the subject- matter is attributed to several matters: -The Ottoman age is the natural historical extension of the modem age.

Thus, many of the habits now are an extension of this age.

- Being familiar with the impact of Pilgrimage on the civil community where people’s aspirations and claims are similar.

-As well, the thesis provides wide horizons to imagine the general conditions in A1 Madinah during the Ottoman era, so it tackles one of the contemporary history research rings.

The thesis includes an introduction dealing with the reasons of selecting the subject and its significance, and four chapters as follows: First Chapter: Effect of Pilgrimage on the categories of the Madinan community.

Second Chapter: Effect of Pilgrimage on the Madinan community economically.

Third Chapter: Effect of Pilgrimage on the Madinan community in its celebrations, customs, and traditions.

Fourth Chapter: Effect of Pilgrimage on the Madinan community culturally.

As for the occlusion, it revealed the most significant outcomes and recommendations concluded by the thesi
