Abstract EN

This study highlights the latest concepts in management science which around by abounded, scientific researches quantitatively and qualitatively in recent years, which is the knowledge management ana -he most important means of activate it in the documentary institutions, perhaps the most notable: the teams work.

This scientific paper focuses bn the concept of work teams and the terms related such as collective work; and the specifications of successful work teams and it's contributions in upgrading the performance of the documentary institutions especially the university libraries which witnessing radical changes in the information ages and the technological evolution on hand, and a development in the nature of its services and it's community beneficiaries from this point.

This study attempts to know the role of the work teams in the activation of knowledge management in university libraries.
