Abstract EN

Geography deals with studying different phenomena on the earth determining their spatial and temporal aspects .

Marriage and divorce are phenomena that have the most great effect on the population life , while the population geography studied these two phenomena owing to their special importance in the population studies as to its relation with growth and population reproduction .

Marriage means a legitimate, legal and social contract combining man and woman by holy pubic relation in the community to form family.

Divorce, in contrast , is to put an end and break marriage legally and socially.

The study argues for three main points: the first one the seasonal cases of marriage and divorce in general at Zubair District while the second point argues the seasonal cases of marriage and divorce within administrative unit of the district.

Third point argues two seasonal phenomenon within the rural and urban environment of Zubair District.
