The aim of this study is to show the role of industrial development and suggest alternative strategies to promote the industrial sector in both Algeria and Morocco, it was concluded that manufacturing industries is the best choice for both countries, as it is the biggest regarding the added value, besides following the method of industrial clusters as well as getting benefits from higher technologies brought by foreign direct investment.
