Within this situation, the interest for promoting the stability of the banking system and protecting it from shocks has increased.

For this reason, governance appeared in the banking sector as one of the mechanisms that aims to stabilize the financial system and ensure the efficiency of the banking system in line with global developments and to avoid the occurrence of collapses and financial crises that affect economic development.
