Abstract EN

Arabic linguistic studies have flourished and developed in the shadow of the Holy Quran.

Researchers interested in the sciences of the Arabic language have mandates included in it.

A large number of researchers considered the primary reasons for having a linguistic and syntactic lesson as due to the spread of common errors among the different people who entered Islam.

Therefore, keeping the Holy Quran away from such linguistic errors became as important reason for these linguistic students.

Numerous scholars have stated hat it is not possible to know the meaning behind the utterances in the Holy Quran and Sunnah and to derive the scholarly meaning from these sources without knowing the different sciences of Arabic including linguistic knowledge, syntactic knowledge, and morphological knowledge, etc.

This study showed the primary function of languages as a means of communication and expression in society.

The study also provided a number of examples from the Holy Quran in which the Islamic legislations were based upon the linguistic and syntactic rules.

Thus, complete knowledge of the sciences of Arabic was considered a prerequisite for the correction of scholarly interpretation.

Moreover, Muslim scholars considered competence in the sciences of Arabic as a mandatory requirement and a duty for those who delved into Isalmic legislative sciences such as scholarly interpretation and the science of reading the Holy Quran and its interrelationship with phonology and phonetics.
